Welcome camera enthusiasts! Get ready to step into the past while developing skills relevant to present day photography.
This class will explore the techniques and processes used for creating and developing 35mm film photography using a manual camera. We will cover the essential skills needed for creating album-worthy pictures. We will be exploring a variety of techniques by studying the art of the past and present, (aka art history) and learning to use a variety of tools for the purpose of creating works of art. We will focus primarily on camera function and development techniques, but alternative projects and processes may be woven into the curriculum.
Students are required to have a fully functional 35mm manual camera for this course.
Elective ( Prerequisite: Art 1 or equivalent)….....................……………………………..1/2 credit
